Golf Rehabilitation
At Howard Physical Therapy, our director has been treating golfers of all levels for more than two decades. It doesn’t matter what stage of golf you are at, whether it be your professional or for leisure; our dedicated specialists help improve your game and protect you from injury. Swinging a golf club can have negative effects on your back, neck, rotator cuff, elbow and knee. Our director is certified by the Titleist Performance Institute and has undergone advanced training to treat these specific problems. In order to ensure that golfers are getting the best in technology, Howard Physical Therapy invested in the K-Vest 3-D kinematic analysis system, the same system used by PGA players around the country.
Our therapists also work with patients who have undergone surgery, or suffered an injury, and are looking for help returning to the golf course. Aside from relieving symptoms, we also treat the following problems:
- Strengthening of muscles
- Building of endurance
- Restoring or improving flexibility
- Correcting Swing Mechanics
- Education on common causes of injury
- Prevention of future injuries
